Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about our Toolkits. We’ve tried to be as thorough as possible, but if you have any other questions concerning our services, please contact us through the provided channels. 

WHAT FORMAT ARE THE DOCUMENTS IN?

The GDPR Toolkits contain a various number of materials in different formats. Those formats are as follows:

  • Guides and E-books – are in .pdf
  • Template Documents – are in .docx
  • Template Logs – are in .xlsx
  • Training Courses – are in .pptx
  • Infographics – are in .jpeg or .png
HOW WILL THE DOCUMENTS BE DELIVERED TO ME

Once your order is submitted and accepted you will be able to download your product straight away from our site. Each product consists of a zip file containing the full set of document templates. This means you will need a copy of Winzip or similar to access them. A free evaluation copy of Winzip is available from www.winzip.com. Once downloaded, just unzip the file and your toolkit will be available for you to get started.

HOW DO I USE THE TEMPLATE DOCUMENTS?

The content of the template documents is complete and accurate. The only thing you have to fill in is the name of your organization and on occasion: a name of a certain employee responsible for a given task; some specifics involving your industry field etc. These are clearly marked and you can easily replace them by using the “find” and “replace” feature in Microsoft Office Word. The documents are designed to suit a large spectrum of economic fields, but if you need a more specific adaptation, we can prepare them for you for an additional fee.

DO I NEED ALL OF THE DOCUMENTS?

We have prepared three editions of the Toolkit in order to meet your organisation’s needs in the best way possible. (If you’re wondering which version to choose, please contact us or check the next few questions) In practice you may not need all of the provided documents, but they are designed in order for your organization to be able to show evidence to the relevant data protection authorities that you have tried to meet the requirements and standards of the GDPR.

WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE STANDARD EDITION?

This edition covers all the essential requirements for GDPR compliance. If your company utilises personal data on a small scale and there are no specific activities (e.g. international transfers, you are a business to business organisation etc.) and you need to show evidence that you’re compliant with GDPR, this is what we recommend for you. By buying the Standard edition you’ll receive all the essential guides, template documents, policies and procedures and training to achieve full compliance with the GDPR requirements.

WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE PREMIUM EDITION?

The GDPR Toolkit Premium Edition is suitable for you if you operate with personal data on a medium to large scale. The Premium Edition includes additional template documents, examples and educational courses on GDPR and information security. Thus, allowing you to achieve compliance with the complex aspects of the GDPR.

Of course, we also got you covered with all the essential guides, template documents, policies and procedures that is already contained within our Standard Edition of the Toolkit.

WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE PLATINUM EDITION?

The Platinum Edition is the perfect match for you if your organisation hasn’t implemented any data protection measures up to now or processes/controls data a large scale. Complying with the GDPR is not a job for everyone and you’ll probably be in need of some assistance. That’s the reason the Platinum Edition includes consultancy service. This way you’ll have an on-call GDPR professional ready to answer all your questions and guide you through each step of your compliance journey. With help along the way, compliance is a more affordable and an easily achievable goal.

Since the Platinum Edition is our “VIP” package, you’ll be covered on all the GDPR in-house requirements such as: policies and procedures, template documents and trainings. Additionally, you’ll receive a bonus e-book on international data transfers as well as all the necessary templates, documents and forms for Privacy Shield Certification process and help you start your information security ISMS ISO27001 certification.

CAN I BUY A SEPARATE DOCUMENT, TRAINING OR INFOGRAPHIC?

At the current moment this option is unavailable via the website, but if you’re interested in a particular document or service, please contact us for an individual quote.

CAN YOU FILL OUT THE DOCUMENTS FOR ME?

Of course, if you are interested in such a service, contact us and you’ll receive a complete version of the documents designed in accordance with your organisation. Please keep in mind that this requires you to provide us with additional information we may need. This service is provided for an additional cost.  

HOW IS THE ONLINE CONSULTANCY DELIVERED?

Although our toolkits are intended to be used without needing to use a consultant, sometimes one cannot help but need an extra hand to assist in the implementation of the Toolkits. This could be for a number of reasons such as lack of time and internal resources to review and incorporate the Toolkits or simply put your organisation does not have someone with expertise in compliance with the GDPR.

Email assistance is covered by our support service that is included in your Toolkit purchase but if you feel you would like to discuss your project in more detail and more regularly, or if you would like us to complete some of your documentation for you, we provide our online consultancy service through Skype.

IN CASE I NEED ONLINE CONSULTANCY SHOULD I BUY THE PLATINUM EDITION OR CAN I BUY ANY OTHER EDITION AND CONSULTANCY AS AN ADD-ON?

Yes, you can buy any Toolkit with consultancy as an add-on. The choice of which edition to buy depends on the needs of your organization, but please keep in mind that the most cost-effective option in this case will be Platinum, since four hours of consultancy is already included.

MY PAYMENT HAS BEEN REFUSED, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

The payment providers we use have a variety of different ways to evaluate each credit card transaction and decide whether to accept it. This is outside of our control and sometimes you may find that a valid card is rejected on the first attempt. We would suggest that you check the details of the card including the registered address, number, expiry date and CVV code and try again.

If you still have no success you can contact us to discuss alternative methods of payment, the main one being bank transfer.
